When you sign in, the site receives a stable sign-in identifier, email address and optional display name from ChatGPT. Saved events, followed companies, view and filter preferences, time zone and consent choices are stored against that account.
Event records contain public source information, evidence and revision history. With your permission, site analytics count actions such as event views and organiser-link clicks. If you accept optional analytics, feature banners use a first-party cookie, lasting up to 60 days, to keep one offer consistent on the same browser. We record the assigned offer, visible banner views and clicks. After registration, we link that offer to the account and record email confirmation and feature activation. This lets us compare which offers attract subscribers. Short-lived hashed request counters help prevent abuse and expire after two minutes.
With your permission, we use a random first-party visitor identifier for up to 60 days and a session identifier that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. These support social-link attribution, event saves, account registrations, advertising links and referrals to official event websites. Account registrations mean MiningEvents accounts, not event ticket sales. Signed-in actions can be linked to your account; these records are pseudonymous, not anonymous. We do not use browser fingerprinting or cross-device matching. Raw action records are excluded from reports after 180 days and removed during the next Performance report refresh. Expired session records are also removed then.
Reports exclude recognised crawlers, staff and test traffic where detected. They cover consenting visitors only. The system does not store IP addresses, full referring URLs or form content in action records. Google Analytics, when configured, receives event and campaign identifiers but no account identifiers or email addresses. Its tag remains blocked until analytics consent is given.
Weekly briefings, personalised event alerts, reminders, presentation alerts and event-change alerts each have separate controls. Consent is recorded with its wording and time. Venture marketing has a separate optional choice and is unavailable until the operating entity is identified. It is never a condition of using an account.
Account holders can export their records and request deletion from the account page. Unsubscribe links do not require sign-in. Deletion removes the active profile, saved events and watchlist. Minimal consent, suppression and audit records may be retained to honour withdrawals and prevent deleted accounts from receiving messages after recovery.
The site uses Sites hosting, a persistent database and private evidence storage. The planned production services cover email, social publication, source discovery, verification, scheduling and a separate recovery journal. Email delivery uses Resend when connected. Scheduled processing uses QStash when connected. The account page shows whether email sending is available.
Essential cookies support sign-in, security and your privacy choice. The privacy-choice cookie lasts up to 180 days. Optional analytics is off until you accept it. Rejecting analytics does not prevent browsing, saving events or following companies. Use Privacy settings in the footer to change your choice. Withdrawal stops future optional measurement and expires the feature-assignment, visitor and session cookies.
Google advertising is paused while the advertising consent service is configured. The site does not currently load the Google advertising script. This policy will be updated before advertising starts.
You can review and export account data in My account. Correct your preferences there. For other corrections, privacy questions or complaints, use the operator contact details when available. We will assess requests and respond through the contact details you provide.
Hosting, sign-in and connected delivery providers process information to supply their services. Processing may occur outside Australia. Event discovery can use AI to analyse public event sources. Optional email delivery remains unavailable until the required services are connected. Account information is retained while your account is active; deletion and limited retained records are described above.
